Thierry Henry has revealed the words of former boss Arsene Wenger during his time at Juventus that changed his career forever.

    The former striker began his career at Monaco before moving to Juventus, but he only stayed with the team for six months before moving to Arsenal and becoming a “Gunners” legend, scoring 228 goals and providing 97 assists in 377 games.

    Speaking to Arsenal’s official website, he recalled his time before his move to the English giants: “A few years after Arsene left Monaco, Henry came to watch a Juventus v Udinese game where I played โปรโมชั่น ufabet. After the game, I went back to Paris and he was on the same plane.”

    “He said he was watching the game. We exchanged numbers and he told me he didn’t understand why I was playing on the wing, I was a wing-back at the time!”

    “He told me I was wasting my time and he remembered me when I was playing as number nine. He said it would be great if we met again and that was history.”
