Smith Rowe bids emotional farewell to Arsenal

Emile Smith Rowe has sent a heartfelt message to Arsenal after leaving the club to join Fulham permanently.

Smith Rowe rose through the Arsenal youth system and made 115 senior appearances, but was plagued by injuries over the last two seasons and eventually had to leave the club in search of regular first-team opportunities.

Fulham have confirmed Smith Rowe has signed a five-year contract until the summer of 2029, โปรโมชั่น ufabet with the option to extend for a further year, for a fee of £27m plus £7m in add-ons. 

The 24-year-old said of his departure from the Gunners: “To the Arsenal family, I’m not sure where to start because this is the hardest message I’ve ever written to you all.”

“I was only 10 years old when I signed my first contract with this club. I was just a kid who didn’t know that I would play over 100 games and wear the famous number 10 shirt for Arsenal.”

“I’ve experienced so much here, met and played with the best people, and made so many memories that it’s hard to pick the best moment.”

“There are so many people to thank. I would like to thank all my team-mates over the years, the staff who have helped me along the way and especially the fans like you who have made Arsenal my ‘home’ for so long.”

“I’m ready to take on a new challenge now. I’m hungrier than ever and I have to give myself a chance to take it to the next level.”
